Malaysia Inflammatory Bowel Disease Special Interest Group was founded by health care professionals, representatives from the pharmaceutical industry and well motivated patients. Our main objectives are to create platfothe study, research, treatment, and awareness of Inflammatory Bowel Disease in the Malaysian context.

History
Malaysia IBD SIG was founded on the 24th of August, 2014.
Made up of adult and paediatric gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, pathologists, radiologists and health-care supporting staffs.
